The truth is, recent stories recommend that DeepSeek and a number of other other AI tools are susceptible to AI jailbreaks. There are indications they’re imitating many of the security measures advisable by US institutions and taken by US labs. Those measures are completely insufficient right now - but if we adopted ample measures, I feel they might properly copy those too, and we should work for that to happen.
