Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item upgrader kit that makes certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, are able to be used in any type of equipment, and offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments are able to be used on back equipment that has been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item upgrader kit while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes as in registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied when other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a window with the Glyphs available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the item level upgrade you are looking for. Every weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will earn. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

When a Glyph is at the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost all the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled.

Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Rerolling

Rerolling is a method in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to play the character or weapon you are interested in. This can be done for you to increase your level faster or to gain more loot, such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be that they like the style or personality of the character.

It is important to make clean changes when you reroll. You should verify locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev check. You should upload the patch with a plain difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck you have. During this period, you should avoid optional enemy camps to cut down on time. Additionally it is recommended to not repeat any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

Another important consideration when rerolling is to make sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. These can include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. In addition, it's important to understand the limitations of the upgrade system.

Sets

A set is a group of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a class). Sets permit operations like intersection, union and difference.

When you upgrade an item, it is a different version of itself that is superior to the previous one. For weapons and armor this means it will gain an increase in the base defense and an lower strength requirement, upgrade items and an lower level requirement.

Upgrades are an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense by 217 to 321 and reduce the strength requirements and levels to an feasible range.

However, it's important to note that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and do not require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more. For such products, it might be worth the extra expense to upp them.
