The Best Twin Buggy

The basket is smaller than the other models, but it can still accommodate a huge changing bag. There are also additional tray compartments for storing snacks, drinks and toys.

It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). The clever backrest can be flattened to make it suitable for long walks or naps. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it simple to use. It's also extremely light at just 6.6kg and comes with an extra bag for travel.

Joie Evalite Duo

British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing happiness with the new parents" by creating pushchairs that are "functional, innovative and stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to carry two kids side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both children can view the world around them.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is among the most lightweight strollers for children on the market. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding feature is an absolute highlight. They were impressed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces than other models.

They also point out that the front seat does not fully recline, and they had to make use of their hands to pull it down which they would prefer not to have to do when travelling with small children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that can be improved by a few tweaks. And they are awestruck by how compact double stroller and compact when folded!

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they require. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It comes with a range of accessories, including raincovers and liners. Rival brands charge separately for these.

iCandy Peach is a favourite for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its fashionable and contemporary jersey fabrics. This new 2022 Peach is updated with a few minor tweaks to enhance efficiency and performance without sacrificing aesthetics.

The addition of a ride-on board makes this the ideal option for twins. It is also slightly smaller than the previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from offering all the space you'll need for your children.

This is an excellent double stroller for those who want something sleek and adaptable. You can use it from the beginning as a single stroller, and then purchase a double-kit for it to be a twin buggy. It comes with an enormous basket and five reclining positions that ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also has a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. The only issue is that it could be a little heavy to carry around when you aren't using it, especially as it folds in two parts instead of one.

iCandy Orange

This is the best twin buggy you can get. The seats are well padded and can be outfitted with luxurious footmuffs or liners which should keep your kids warm in cold weather. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis with ease thanks to the gate-opening side flaps and is spacious and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis has an amazing 30 possible combinations.

The wheels are specially designed to withstand rough and paved ground and there's a hefty shopping basket underneath which is ideal for big shopping trips at the supermarket. This pushchair feels smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but not flip-flop friendly). The latch that holds it folded needs two hands to unlock. After it's folded, the front wheels fold under the basket, and the chassis can stand on its own easily.

The Orange is best suited for parents who are fashion-conscious and have children or toddlers and want a buggy that'll be able to grow with them. It's also a good choice for parents who are expecting an additional child in the not-too-distant future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap, but it's versatile enough that it should last for several years and will have a high resale price as well. It also comes with a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!

Mountain Buggy Duet

Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first pram company to focus on double tandem pushchair all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek, able to fit through doors and easily maneuver through narrow aisles of shopping. It is among the smallest, most feature-packed double buggies in the market and has won numerous awards including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

The seats are narrow enough for children of varying ages to sit together comfortably and the seats are reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopy is equipped with flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket has plenty of space. It can accommodate two infant car seats with the purchase of adapters for car seats and is compatible with almost all brands that are available, which is a huge benefit.

The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it's heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and could be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It is priced higher than other double side-by-side buggies. It is built to last and comes with a variety of features for its price. It is a good choice for parents in urban areas who want to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. The padded harnesses, 5-point buckle, and padded straps make it safe for infants.

Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with a classy design. It's a premium product, but it's not without faults.

It comes with very few features, both for kids and parents. The only thing that is provided by the side bin is that it is only available when one seat in the car is connected. There aren't any parent trays cup holders, cups or accessory pockets, and this could be problematic for long trips.

The seats aren't able to recline to a flat position and the gap between them is a bit wide and our 5-year-old experienced difficulty lying back comfortably. This is a shame since it's a premium model.

On the positive side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great for climbing up the steps and slopes. It is also narrow enough to fit into the majority of doorways and folds easily for storage and transportation. It can also be converted back to mono mode in just three clicks if ever need some more room or a quick getaway. The comfortable wheeled board is able to accommodate the third child should it be required. If you're on budget there are alternatives that are less expensive. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's worth the price.
